Melanoma Information Session Toronto offers you an opportunity to learn current and new treatments presented by an oncologist, and coping strategies on how to manage the emotional side of cancer. Connect with other melanoma patients, and receive complementary melanoma resource materials.

BIO’S

Dr. Marcus Butler, MD

Dr. Marcus Butler, MD

Marcus Butler is a physician investigator with an interest in the translational development of immune-based therapies for cancer patients. He joined the Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in 2012 and is an Assistant Professor at the University of TorontoHe cares for patients with melanoma and gynecologic malignancies and is the director of the Princess Margaret Immune Monitoring LaboratoryHis work focuses on the development of immunotherapy trials, which include studies, alone and in combination, of immune checkpoint blocking antibodies, immunomodulators, and adoptive cell transfer.

Dr. Michelle Levy, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Michelle Levy, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Michelle Levy graduated with honours from the University of Toronto‚Äôs Faculty of Medicine in 1999.  She completed her residency in dermatology, also at the University of Toronto, in 2004, and was selected to serve as Chief Resident in her final year of training.  Dr. Levy practices general and has an interest in skin cancer screening.  In addition to her clinical practice, she is involved in resident education, and she regularly teaches dermatology to physicians-in-training.  Dr. Levy is board-certified by both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Dermatology, and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Canadian Dermatology Association, and the Toronto Dermatological Society.

Dr. Rickinder Sethi, MD

Dr. Rickinder Sethi is a 2018 graduate of the Psychiatry residency program at Western University and is Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada. He’s currently completing a fellowship specializing in the psychosocial impacts in cancer management at the Princess Margaret Psychosocial Oncology Department.
