Dr Scott Ernst MD FRCPC

Medical Oncologist London Regional Cancer Program

Dr  Ernst is a Professor of Medicine a the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario where he has also served as Divisional Head, Medical Oncology until 2018. He graduated from University of Ottawa and completed his postgraduate training in Edmonton Alberta, including the Cross Cancer Institute. He has held faculty positions at the Universities of Calgary, East Carolina and Miami.

His principle clinical interest has been in the management of Genitourinary malignancies and Melanoma. His specific research has focused upon new drug development, and bone metastases. He has participated in numerous national and international clinical trials and has authored over 100 peer reviewed publications. He is currently founding Director of the Canadian Melanoma Research Network and Chairman of the annual Canadian Melanoma Conference.

Dr. Steven Latosinsky

Surgical Oncologist
Associate Professor – Department of Surgery London Health Sciences Centre

Dr. Latosinsky likes to travel. He received his MD from Toronto in 1990 and then completed general surgery at the University of Calgary in 1996.  He did his Surgical Oncology training at the Medical College of Virginia and obtained a MSc in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University. Dr. Latosinsky worked for 10 years as a Surgical Oncologist at the University of Manitoba and joined Western University in the same capacity in 2009. His research interests are in health services research related to cancer, with clinical interests in surgical oncology: colorectal and breast cancer, melanoma and sarcoma (soft-tissue tumours).
