Legacy Giving

Remembering Melanoma Network of Canada with a planned gift is a generous and thoughtful way to help us continue our mission to provide patient support and education, melanoma and skin cancer prevention and awareness initiatives and research. Your legacy will create positive outcomes for Canadians impacted by melanoma and skin cancer and helps save lives.

There are a number of ways to trust your legacy to the Melanoma Network of Canada

Gifts in Wills and Estates

No matter your age or life stage, creating a Will allows you to leave a legacy to protect loved ones and support causes you cherish. You can leave a legacy of hope, helping support future generations of melanoma and skin cancer patients to come, while helping you achieve significant tax savings for your estate.

Melanoma Network of Canada has partnered with Willfora, a FREE resource to help make creating or updating a Will easier than ever. Willfora allows you to create a legal Will online in 20-minutes or less, at no cost to you.

Donate Securities & Mutual Funds

A donation of securities or mutual funds is the most efficient way to give charitably. Since capital gains taxes don’t apply, you can give more and get more. Plus, we make it easy to donate securities to one or many charities today.

Gift – Plus Annuity
Donate a capital sum in return for regular donations at a specified rate for life.

Charitable Remainder Trust
Set aside a gift of money or property while receiving tax advantages and income from the trust.

Gift of Life Insurance
Gift of life insurance is an easy and affordable way to give a significant gift and claim immediate or ongoing tax deductions.

Real Estate Gift
Gifts of Real Estate include principal residences, farms, land and commercial property. Giving a gift of real estate allows you to simplify your estate and give to the Melanoma Network of Canada during your lifetime.

Registered Assets RRSP & RRIF
Donating to the Melanoma Network of Canada  all or part of an RRSP or RRIF is an effective way to reduce the taxes payable by your estate.

Residual Interest Gift
A Residual Interest gift is a method of giving in which property is deeded to the Melanoma Network Canada. However, you retain the use of the property for the rest of your life or a term of years.
